Following up on my previous post, it’s nearly here! The ANINE BING collaboration with Swedish fashion retailer Gina Tricot launches tomorrow, April 12, 2018.

This is definitely one of those pinch-me moments. As a teen growing up in Scandinavia, the Gina Tricot campaign posters and product launches were my first introduction to fashion, serving to inspire my individual style from an early age. And now, a younger generation of women will be encouraged to pursue their passions through the #aninebingxginatricot collection, which gives a nod to L.A.’s music scene with its rock ‘n’ roll spirit.

Aptly named the ANINE BING Tour, the capsule includes new interpretations of signature AB pieces, like the perfect leather jacket, statement boots, a cargo military jacket, cool rock tees, flirty camisoles, the perfect black lace bra, cozy knits, and great denim, of course.

I’m currently in Copenhagen with some members of my team for the launch festivities. But I wanted to share some photos from the day we presented the collection to Scandinavian influencers and press in Los Angeles. The video below shows some behind-the-scenes footage from the presentation.

It was one of those days buzzing with excitement and energy. The Gina Tricot team visited the ANINE BING Headquarters in Downtown Los Angeles to see, touch, feel, and wear the collection. I got to walk them through the pieces, talk about the inspiration behind them, and elaborate on what I loved about each. Nothing makes me happier than sharing my passion for fashion and getting the chance to interact with others as they discover new styles, too.

It was a really special and inspiring experience, and now, I hope you love the collection as much as I do.

Your feedback is what fuels me. So please, tell me which piece shown here is your favorite. Mine is the varsity jacket. I can’t stop wearing it!

Oh my goodness! Anine, this collection looks so cool. I wish some of the pieces were available here in the US! I love the varsity jacket and the black oversized tank with the logo. This video and all the recent videos have been enjoyable to watch and so well produced. Congrats on all your continued success! PS: Next month I will be traveling from IOWA to NYC and I finally get to go to your store…which I know you now have two there. Looking forward to seeing pieces in person. xx
